Target

I was detained when exiting the store to inspect my receipt. That in itself is not odd. I inquired as to why I was being detained and was informed that everyone with unbagged items were to be stopped. I purchased one 20 pound container of cat litter, that was all. The exchange frustrated me as I had witnessed several people with multiple unbagged items exit unimpeded during my four minute stop. Excessive for a single item in my opinion. Later on the same day I had a few items to pick up and was stopped again upon departing. All of my items were bagged this time. Prior to my attempted exit three other parties were allowed to leave unimpeded as well as two additional during my stop. I do not know what made me appear suspicious to them but I presume some sort of profiling may be involved. I think I'll be avoiding this location from now on as it appears I am not welcome.
