Wireless World - Verizon Authorized Retailer

They only have fake "demo" phones that don't turn on for two of the highest rated brands. Seriously, they expect me to purchase a $900 phone without seeing it in action?? I get it if that's they way the "authorized retailers" do it, but what really pissed me off was the kid working there lying to me by telling me that that's all I would find at ALL of the Verizon stores for those brands. I've been a Verizon customer for 15+ years and have bought phones of both brands, and have always had the option of playing with a "real" phone in the store. To verify, I called a corporate store in Omaha. The man who answered also sounded both incredulous and slightly appalled when I told him of the fake demo phones and the blatant untruth I was given about them. Based on my experience at this Denison store, I will avoid all "authorized dealers" in the future. The city is not that far away.
