Surf Ballroom & Museum

This is an important place in the history of Rock and Roll and would be even if it wasn't the last place that Buddy Holly played. It was a big stop for bands in Rock's early days and audiences came from all over the Midwest. It is still a live music venue and big name artists still perform here. It has a gift shop and takes donations. There is tons of memorabilia both from Rock in general but a special emphasis on Buddy Holly, Ricky Vallenz and the Big Bopper. A unique experience, moving and sad but still hopeful as the place is still a going concern.
